| Draftsperson Employment: Permanent Posted On: Tuesday, January 17, 2012 # of Openings: 0 Classification: Design/Drafting Location: Calgary, AB Apply To: Description: Design Group Staffing seeks an intermediate Draftsperson for our Calgary based client. Reporting to the Drafting Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for: Developing and preparing legal survey drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, survey calculations, specification sheets and other data for both internal and external customers. Operate computer-assisted design (CAD) and drafting workstations. Develop and prepare design sketches. Complete documentation packages and produce drawing sets. Respond quickly to the customer's needs in response to addressing issues that may surface. Participate in cross-functional, continuous improvement within your department as the opportunity presents itself. As the ideal candidate, you will possess: A College diploma or University degree in Drafting or Geomatics. At least five (5) years experience preparing plans for the oil and gas/commerical/residential sector using AutoCAD software. Have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outloo.... |
