| Drafting Supervisor - Metals Job No. 2012020608 Location: Mississauga Position Profile In this position you will be responsible for organizing staff on preparation of drawings, designs or procedures, etc. and assign duties according to project requirements. Responsibilities: ?Prepare and review project specification documentation ?Oversee and review the activities such as, calculations, design models, drawings and design documents for accuracy, quality, and functionality as well as conformance to standards and contracts ?Resolve outstanding drawing issues and pursue contract clarifications as required ?Shows seasoned understanding of quality systems industry codes, and standards and is able to apply them effectively in varied situations ?Provide supervision , guidance, and mentoring to drafters ?Liaise with construction teams to oversee the build and provide design solutions to facilitate the process ?Provide frequent contact and interaction with clients, vendor representatives, and project field personnel ?Measure performance and implement process improvements Qualifications ?Experience in architectural products, particularly metal products and applications is absolutely required..... |
