| Job Scope: To manage the overall activities of the Security Department. Responsibilities: Job Responsibilities: Manages staff by providing leadership, direction and advice to supervisors, employees, contractors and vendors to ensure efficient delivery of security services. Conducts inspections and evaluations of performance, communicates priorities and provides guidance as necessary. Makes recommendations for enhancements or changes to existing programs. Oversees daily activities of the Security Department by reviewing reports, investigating incidents and providing direction to staff. Develops and maintains positive tenant relations by consulting with tenants and tenants' security consultants. Responds in person or by phone to tenant concerns regarding security and other Central Operations functions, Provides and coordinates tenant training on life safety procedures. Conducts training and seminars for tenants on security-related subjects. Formulates security-related policies and procedures in cooperation with the Vice President, Operations and corporate Vice President/National Director of Security. Produces and updates procedures manuals for Central Operations and contract security.... |
