| Job Title: Deputy Warden - Operations Job ID: 7431 Location: Yellowknife Department JUS Adult Facilities Return to Previous Page Position Summary Deputy Warden - Operations North Slave Correctional Centre Department of Justice Yellowknife, NT Reporting to the Warden of the North Slave Correctional Centre, the Deputy Warden ?? Operations manages the frontline operations of the facility in accordance with the NWT Corrections Act, other Federal and Territorial Legislation and operational standards established in the Corrections Division, in order to provide safe and secure custody, rehabilitation and reintegration of sentenced and remanded inmates. As part of the facility management team, on day, afternoon or night shifts, the incumbent will ensure the ongoing provision of services within the spirit and intent of the Corrections Mission, Vision and Value statement. The incumbent should have the proven ability to respond under pressure, to lead and direct during crisis situations, and proven knowledge of suicide intervention and crisis intervention techniques.
