| Deputy Director of Human Resources Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Deputy Director is responsible for providing leadership, guidance and direction with respect to the City’s employee and labour relations strategies. This will include ensuring efficient and effective labour and employee relations that support the City’s mission, vision, values and goals. EDUCATION: Grade 12, G.E.D. , or Mature High School Diploma. Must hold and maintain a valid and subsisting Class 5 Province of Manitoba Drivers License and have access to their own vehicle. Graduation from a recognized post secondary institute in a discipline directly related to the work. EXPERIENCE: Five to seven years experience in the field of Human Resources with a specialization in the area of labour relations. Experience in the negotiation of Collective Agreements as a Chief negotiator or close second. Experience in a municipal, multi-union environment would be an asset.
