| DISTRIBUTION ASSISTANT (Richmond Hill, ON) Description: HOURS OF WORK ? 11:00am to 7:30pm, Monday to Friday ? ? DEPARTMENT / LOCATION ? ? 50 East Wilmot Street , Richmond Hill, ON POSITION PURPOSE ? ? Perform distribution-related clerical duties.?Properly ensure accuracy of the information in the computer system.?Responsible for report and file maintenance. ? REPORTS TO ? Operations Manager DIRECT REPORTS ? None DESIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE ? ? High school graduate. ? Data entry experience. ? Previous experience in a distribution shipping office would be an asset. SKILL & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS ? ? ? Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers and vendors; ? Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Word, Excel, Outlook; ? Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work as a team member; ? Candidate must be detail-oriented with excellent follow-up and problem solving skills coupled with good judgment, dependability, and reliability; ? Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines; ? Experience on WMS computer system would be an asset; ? Experience with the mainframe would be an asset. ? .... |
