| DIALYSIS ASSISTANT COMPETITION NO: 11-693 STATUS : Temporary Part Time (For Approx. 12 months) PROGRAM : Chronic Kidney Disease Program REPORTS TO : Manager, Chronic Kidney Disease SALARY : $18.95 - $22.36 per hour HOURS : Days, Evenings and Weekends; 7.5 and 11.25 Hour Shifts (other shifts as assigned) JOB SUMMARY: Assist in performing a variety of routine functions related to the provision of hemodialysis, following infection control and department policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS: Grade 12 or equivalent. Technical/mechanical ability and dexterity. Healthcare experience in an acute care environment. Related interest/experience (especially knowledge of dialysis equipment and dialysis therapy). Primary assignment at the YCH main site however due to operational requirements may be assigned to work at satellite locations. Current certificate of BCLS or willing to obtain within three months of hire. Demonstrates behaviours consistent with York Central Hospital ?s Code of Conduct Proven attendance record.
