| DESKTOP SUPPORT SPECIALIST Location: Richmond Main Office Job Code: 93 # of openings: 1 Description POSITION TITLE: Desktop Support Specialist DEPARTMENT: Information Technology REPORTS TO: IT Manager DATE: January 2012 PURPOSE: The Desktop Support Specialist wil l perform duties under the general direction of the IT Manager and will be the main point of contact for all employee technical support issues. This role will also liaise with the ESS group within TetraTech which provides desktop support for all operating companies. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains and support tools used to record and follow through with customer reported problems. Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and supports desktop computer systems, hardware and peripherals including installations and upgrades Assists with support, monitors, and troubleshoots hardware and software problems Responds to infrastructure service outages / incidents Receive, track and resolve Help Desk requests Maintain up-to-date and accurate asset management records Conduct IT orientations and provide support for new employees Performs other tasks and projects as assigned QUALIFICATIONS : Diploma or Certificate in IT Management or e.... |
