| DB1 Special Event Assistant This position is available through the Job Creation Partnership Program, offered in partnership with Employment Ontario . The Job Creation Partnership program is designed to provide those receiving Employment Insurance benefits (or those with reach back status) work experience opportunities needed to acquire more marketable skills to help them find future employment. CONTRACT LENGTH : 26 weeks START DATE : ASAP END DATE : For Set Weeks JOB SUMMARY: Assist with the coordination and implementation of various projects related to the success of the Festival. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP : Reporting to and working directly under the supervision of the Executive Director and/or Chief Operating Officer. RESPONSIBILITIES : Respond to general telephone, in person and electronic inquiries and/or forward to appropriate person. Use computer word processing and spreadsheet software to prepare reports and required documents. Coordinate site allocations. Create Annual Media Launch Event invitation list and assist with event logistics. Assist with coordination of Silent Auction and Volunteer/Pledge Challenge Appreciation Event. Coordinate all festival concessionaires, vendors.... |
