| External Job Title External Job Title Customs Compliance Analyst, Canada AutoReqId 30745BR Function Operations Type of Job Full Time Country Canada External Job Description Customs Compliance Analyst, Canada Role Purpose: The Customs Compliance Analyst ensures compliance with Canada Border Service Agency regulations and other participating Government agency regulations for Diageo’s imported products. Management Responsibility: No direct reports Financial Responsibility: Manage weekly customs broker payments and monthly GST payments, perform other financial analyses as necessary. Complexity of Role: The Role will work independently & with cross-functional teams; manage third parties, including customs brokers, freight forwarders and suppliers; analyze metrics for ~ 3500 shipments/year and make recommendations towards trade facilitation and/or cost mitigation; conduct weekly compliance audits and perform corrective actions, as needed; manage duty deferral programs; and classify imported products.
