| Job Title: Corporate Services Assistant Job ID: 7985 Location: Yellowknife Department ECE Regional Mgmt & Support Return to Previous Page Position Summary Corporate Services Assistant North Slave Region Department of Education, Culture & Employment Yellowknife, NT Reporting to the Manager, Finance & Administration, the Corporate Services Assistant is responsible for providing financial, administrative, human resources and clerical support to the Department of Education Culture and Employment in the North Slave Region. The incumbent provides verification of all finance documents, responds to administrative enquiries, and helps to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Regional Office. Applicants should have an understanding of the GNWT Financial Administration Manual, government financial policies, practices and procedures. The successful incumbent should have knowledge of financial systems and accounting practices, microcomputers and filing systems. The incumbent will have proven computer skills, excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Typically, the above qualifications would be obtained.... |
