| Our client, a holding company in prestigious downtown Montreal business office, is searching for a General Counsel and Corporate Secretary who will be responsible for three primary areas: Corporate Secretary, Commercial Law and Employment Law. This individual will provide informed and impartial legal advice and counsel regarding all aspects of the challenges facing a holding company and family office. The position will involve diverse responsibilities based on need and direct interaction with family members. Proactive services will also be required as it relates to analysis and counsel on legal issues for both personal and business needs; this may include but is not limited to transitions in business interests or other substantial assets. Matters described below represent most of the areas to be handled.
