| Position Title Coordinator, Client Services Employee Group Regular FT Hours Per Week 37.5 On Call No Program or Dept. Meals on Wheels, Community Support Services Salary Range To be discussed Job Summary Through a commitment to volunteerism, the Coordinator of the Meals on Wheels program will ensure that the goals and objectives of the program are achieved through marketing, recruiting, screening, training, placement, monitoring, and ongoing management of volunteers. Responsibilities ? Determines the eligibility of clients referred to the program; interprets the service to the clients and assesses client ?s needs through home visitations ? Recommends alternate resources for clients, as appropriate ? Provide support, resources and feedback to volunteers, enabling them to provide quality service to clients ? Assigns suitable volunteers to clients according to identified needs, accompanies volunteers to the client ?s home for the first visit, closely monitors the relationship and ensures that the standards and policies set forth by VON are met ? Research, explore & identify possible funding opportunities for the continuation of the program ? Collaborates with other health professionals.... |
