| Controls Technician Job ID: TAM20111207-99193 Description: Company: Union Gas Limited Department: Storage and Transmission Operations Location: Lobo Compressor Station Closing Date: February 6, 2012 Responsibilities/Job Description: Provide technical support for the Compressor Operations group by keeping all associated equipment running safe and efficiently. Duties include the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of various control systems used on jet turbines, reciprocating compressors, power generation, dehydration gas measurement and gas quality. Provide accurate and detailed documentation of all work performed, ie. Red line drawings, complete log books and other paperwork as required. Work closely with Maintenance and Engineering to quickly solve problems and identify opportunities. Calibration and repair of both electronic and pneumatic instrumentation. Programming and troubleshooting of various PLC/HMI/DCS software packages. Remain current with changing technology. Basic/Minimum Qualifications: College graduate in the field of Instrumentation/Electrical/Controls Technology. 3-5 years related field experience in the area of controls and/or electrical and/or gas measur.... |
