This will include management of labour costs, inventory control and maximizing sales & profits. The Grocery Manager will also conduct performance reviews and staff evaluations as well as the train and supervise staff. This position will also ensure that the department is maintained according to Thrifty Foods presentation standards, while providing a high level of customer service. Job Requirements ? Demonstrate thorough knowledge and understanding of relevant Thrifty Foods policies and procedures. ? Ability to provide exceptional customer service and to motivate others to do the same. ? Motivate and lead staff through coaching and personal example regarding selling skills, department cleanliness, health & safety practices, dress code, staff relations, and compliance with Thrifty Foods policies ?
