| JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Manager Total Rewards the Compensation Specialist is responsible for overseeing and administering the organizations compensation programs including the base salary program, the short-term incentive programs and the organizations recognition programs. In addition to administering and maintaining the organizations compensation programs the Compensation Specialist will take a lead in the updating, developing and implementing compensation policies that align with strategic objectives. Areas of responsibility include:
Oversees and administers the compensation programs including base salary, incentive and recognition programs ensuring they run smoothly, accurately and on budget.
Ensures compensation programs are competitive and aligned with the total reward philosophy and strategic objectives of the company
Researches and prepares detailed compensations models, forecasts and reports
Prepares accurate and concise summaries of research and recommendations into executive summaries for presentation and approval
Recommends compensation policy and design changes and leads implementation and administration
