This is accomplished by providing community and individual services to identified groups and individuals within applicable GNWT legislation, court orders, plan of care and voluntary agreements, the code of ethics of the Northwest Territories NWT Association of Social Workers and the policies and practices of the Tlicho Community Services Agency. Located in Behchoko with a population of approximately 2,000, the incumbent reports to the Manager of Child & Family Services / Mental Health & Wellness. There are four Community Social Service Worker IIIs reporting to the incumbent position. Programs delivered by the incumbent include mandated programs through the Child & Family Services Act, the Adoption Act as well as foster care and family violence programs.
