| Job Title: Community Social Service Worker III Job ID: 9165 Location: Fort Smith Department FSHSSA Social Program Support Return to Previous Page Department Information Community Social Service Worker III Fort Smith Health and Social Services Authority Fort Smith, NT Job Information Reporting to the Social Work Supervisor the Community Social Service Worker III (CSSW III) provides services to the community of Fort Smith, which has a permanent population of approximately 2,500. The CSSWIII is responsible for the delivery of child protection, family services, foster care and adoption services for the Fort Smith Health and Social Services Authority (FSHSSA) in accordance with the NWT Child and Family Services Act, Adoption Act and other policies and standards within the GNWT Department of Health and Social Services. The CSSWIII will also be responsible to deliver programs and services to the elderly and disabled individuals in the community. The incumbent will work within the context of the vision and principles of the FSHSSA and in accordance with the National social Work Code of Ethics.
