The SHSSA provides and supports the delivery of health care services to adults and children on an short term observation, outpatient and outreach basis, in order to enhance healthy communities well being through excellence, accountability and respect for regional diversity Located within the Monica Loomis Health Centre, and reporting directly to the Nurse in Charge (NIC), the Community Health Nurse (CHN), delivers core community health services to a client population of approximately 761 residents in Norman Wells. The Health Centre is the sole health and social services facility in the community.
