| Communications Specialist Our client in Halifax is seeking an experienced marketing communications professional with advanced knowledge and experience in social media, website development (HTML), market planning, e-marketing, stakeholder communications and desktop publishing. Previous work experience in public health would be an asset. This is a long term contract position. Qualifications/Requirements: Undergraduate degree in communication studies or in progress and/or demonstrated relevant experience Demonstrate advanced written and oral communication skills with the ability to align communications with the association’s strategic priorities Strong research, analytical, organizational, and planning skills Able to prioritize and work well in a high-pressure, multi-task environment and as part of a dynamic team with the ability shift smoothly between and among different initiatives Able to demonstrate experience working with different communication media (specifically print media, email, MS Office, PDF, creative design, InDesign, audio and video media, social media, and other communication technologies) Current knowledge and skills in web development Knowledge of social media .... |
