| Title Communications Specialist Job Type Permanent Job Description As an external Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing many of the company's external communications activities including the Public Information Program and media relations activities such as news releases, briefing notes, and media kits. In addition, this position assists with issues management, crisis communication and the community relations program. It is also responsible for the media monitoring strategy and day-to-day oversight and implementation. The successful candidate will manage relationships with external suppliers, and interface with various internal stakeholders including members of the sales and marketing team. Requirements The successful candidate must possess a university degree or 3- year college diploma preferably in communications, journalism or related field with minimum of 5-7 years of experience in providing a wide range of communications, media relations and community relations services.
