| Title Communications Officer Job Type Temporary Job Description Our well established Hamilton client in the not-for-profit sector is looking for a Communications Officer to fill a 6 month contract. This position reports to the Manager of Communications and Development, co-ordinating and administering communications initiatives and assisting with fundraising and special events activities. Responsibilities - Selection of content, researching and writing articles, supervising layout and working with external resources; - Provide graphic design and editorial support including layout and design of brochures, newsletters and pamphlets; - Preparation of media releases, public service announcements, advertisements - Development of media awareness strategies and market activities with local media; - Responsible for content and maintenance of website; - Provide photography services; design and edit profiles; - Handles other communications and administration duties related to job activities.
