| Communication Clerk Nursing Term Full-time ASAP - September 7, 2012 (may expire with two weeks notice) Competition #: 39-12-713505513 Reporting to the Unit Manager, the incumbent as a member of a multidisciplinary team, performs a variety of clerical tasks and acts as a communication link for the Department within a Patient Care area. Ensures the care and comfort of patients as well as routine domestic tasks to maintain the cleanliness of the Department area. Successful candidates must have the flexibility to move between MacCharles and St. Boniface units as assigned. Qualifications: Applicants must be high school graduates (Grade XII or equivalent). Proven proficiency in English. Graduate from a recognized Health Unit Clerk course. Relevant experience may be considered. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and computer knowledge with keyboarding knowledge required. Medical Terminology and previous experience in a patient care setting are required.
