| Co-Ordinator, Government Relations Location Ottawa Regions Ottawa, ON Description The People Bank Ottawa office is currently recruiting for a Bilingual (French/English) Government Relations Co-ordinator. This is a permanent opportunity, paying $45-50k, and is located in Ottawa . JOB DESCRIPTION: Manage the overall administration of the Ottawa office, including the office budget. Plan and coordinate meetings. Monitor parliamentary/legislative, government and political websites, including federal and provincial government news releases and announcements. Electronic tracking of certain parliamentary/legislative proceedings to identifying statements made by parliamentarians and elected provincial officials. Plan and coordinate special events with parliamentarians, political staff and stakeholders; managing all details of the events. Assist in the research and preparation of materials for meetings and parliamentary committee appearances. Manage and track activities within the contacts databases. Liaise and provide update to members as needed. Drafting of correspondence to parliamentarians and government officials. QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent organizational and time management skills. Bil.... |
