| Clinical Research Coordinator Contact/Scientist: Dr. Andrew Seely The Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (OHRI) is an Affiliated Research Institute of the University of Ottawa and the research arm of The Ottawa Hospital. The OHRI has grown rapidly to become one of the largest and most important hospital-based research institutes in Canada. Brief job description: The Dynamical Analysis Laboratory (DAL) at OHRI, under the direction of Dr. Andrew Seely, has developed a software package known as CIMVA (for continuous individualized multi-organ variability analysis). From decades of research, measures of variability are known to be associated with both the presence and degree of various illnesses. Briefly, CIMVA takes as its input a set of (possibly multi-organ) time-varying physiological signals (e.g. ECG, respiratory trace, tachogram) and calculates a wide panel of metrics (including those relating to data quality) that characterize the variability and complexity in the input time series. The DAL Lab is looking for a full-time Clinical Research Coordinator for a one year contract, with the possibility of extension.
