| Clinical Research Assistant Contact/Scientist: Dr. Curtis Cooper Program: Clinical Epidemiology The Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (OHRI) is an Affiliated Research Institute of the University of Ottawa and the research arm of The Ottawa Hospital. The OHRI has grown rapidly to become one of the largest and most important hospital-based research institutes in Canada. Brief job description: Under the supervision of Clinical Research Program Manager Miriam Muir, the Research Assistant will review patient treatment information and provide data entry support for the research program led by Dr. Curtis Cooper. Basic Requirements (Education/Experience): Candidates should possess: 1 year of database experience a general knowledge of clinical research basic medical knowledge a basic proficiency with various computer software applications (i.e. Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office etc) a keen attention to detail the ability to prioritize workload to accommodate periodic deadlines interpersonal, oral and written skills for communication with health care professionals Preferred Qualifications: previous experience in clinical resea.... |
