CLINICAL OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST II
Temporary Full Time (until February 2013)
One of the primary goals of the Department of HR Consulting Services is to maximize the rehabilitation and
recovery of employees who have been impacted by an illness or injury, thereby ensuring a safe and timely return
to work that restores pre-injury status and prevents disability.
Duties:
Located in Carbonear, this position acts as the clinical recovery manager for employees off work due to illness or
injury. This involves providing support for the employee during the recovery and rehabilitation phase of the injury
or illness, carrying out occupational therapy assessments and interventions aimed at developing return to work
plans, also acting in a consultative role with the other members of the team. The successful applicant will work in
partnership with the employee’s own health providers. This position reports to the Coordinator of Occupational
Health and Rehabilitation for Eastern Health.
