POSITION: CLINIC ASSISTANT – REGULAR PART-TIME (30 HOURS BI-WEEKLY)
All hours are flexible as assigned, including evenings & weekends, plus
occasional travel for mobile clinics.
LOCATION: MANITOBA – BRANDON
POSITION SUMMARY: The incumbent assists in the collection of blood at permanent and mobile clinics.
Monitors and ensures safety and comfort of donors throughout the donation process as well as maintains clinic
equipment and supplies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform collection procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety and regulatory
standards.
• Assist in providing safe and high standards of customer service to donors during each phase of the donation
experience.
• Ensure clinic equipment and supplies are available and prepared for use.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• A secondary school diploma.
• Ability to apply fundamental administrative or technical skills such as composition and mathematics
(percentages, decimals).
• A minimum of one (1) year related experience, preferably within a health care and/or customer service
environment.
• CPR and First Aid Certification would be an asset.
