| Title Clerk IV Job ID CCI-12-027 Duties & Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Provincial Manager of Patient Reception Services, is responsible for completing the patient registration and documentation processing admission bookings and other related duties, such as; ? Interviewing new patients, non-residents, and inpatient admissions; ? Updating patient information as necessary on the patient data base and pre-registering new patients; ? Responding appropriately to all patient inquired, in person and on the phone; ? Reviewing mail from the health care communities that requires redirection; ? Providing relief for the switchboard operation, the receptionist, and that admitting clerk; ? Collecting telephone rental fees; ? Receiving bookings for inpatient admissions from medical/nursing staff; ? Contacting other medical organizations to verify patient admission, date, and time; ? Verifying and distributing daily inpatient census; ? Be able to follow the Death Procedures and coordinate arrangements for autopsies. Qualifications Qualifications: ?
