CLERK IV (Staffing)
Temporary, Part-Time (Call-In)
Duties: This position is primarily responsible for preparing and maintaining daily time schedules of all
staff to ensure adequate coverage. The incumbent receives phone calls and notifies staff of approval
or denial of leave requests ensuring minimum staffing parameters are met; enters shift changes and
leave information for staff payroll, ensuring a high degree of accuracy; understands and applies
various collective agreement articles; maintains statistical records; participates in the development
and revision of staffing procedures and practices and performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications: Applicants must possess knowledge of payroll administration, scheduling, collective
agreement administration and computer operations and software. Strong communication,
organizational and analytical skills along with the ability to establish and maintain effective work
relationships are required. These qualifications are normally acquired through completion of a
diploma in office administration or business management wit.... |
