| Clerk IV (Booking Clerk) Gastroenterology Unit Part Time (.50 E.F.T.) TERM POSITION April 15, 2012 - April 13, 2013 Days - Weekdays - Rotation 8 hour shifts HOURLY WAGE: $17.818 - $20.656 TERM NOTE: The said term position is a result of a MATERNITY LEAVE OF ABSENCE which may expire sooner than the date indicated, subject to a minimum two (2) weeks notice. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Grade XII high school/or equivalent Medical Terminology course (1 and 2 or equivalent) 2 years experience in a hospital or clinic setting' 1 year experience in scheduling patients' procedures/tests Recent evidence in the ability and proficiency in computer skills related to an electronic health record environment Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point Demonstrated experience of: Typing 35-45 wpm Demonstrated competence in written, oral and telephone communication skills Evidence of attending continuing education and/or inservices Heart Saver within last 12 months Demonstrated competence in prioritizing and organizing in a fast paced environment Evidence of good interpersonal communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal su.... |
