| Position Title: Clerk III Competition Number: CNP-12-064 Status: Casual FTE: 0.00 Department: Health Information Management Position Type: Both Position Description/ Required Qualifications: Working under the general supervision and guidance of the Supervisor- Health Information management in the Information and Registration area, this position performs a variety of clerical duties related to interviewing patients/parents to obtain correct demographic information, entering information on the Admission Discharge Transfer (ADT) computer system, completing registrations and admissions. The position serves as a point of initial contact for persons seeking treatment at or admission to the hospital through any of the Main or Emergency Admitting areas. The position collects hospital fees for uninsured and out-of-country services. Other duties include: Answering Telephones. Greeting the public and directing individuals accordingly. Creating, retrieving, and maintaining patient files including incomplete charts. Filing of loose reports and obtaining outstanding documents from other departments.
