| Clerk III (Unit Clerk) 200 Surgery Part Time (.62 E.F.T.) TERM POSITION February 19, 2012 - Indefinite Days/Evenings - Weekdays/Weekends - Rotation 8 & 12 hour shifts HOURLY WAGE: $17.044 - $19.759 TERM NOTE: This term position may expire subject to 24 hours notice of return of current incumbent to his/her position (BRHA/CUPE Collective Agreement) REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Grade XII or equivalent (GED) Completion of a Medical Terminology Course (1 and 2 or equivalent) Heart Saver (adult, infant, child/AED optional) within past 12 months One year of Clerk III experience in the last five (5) years Demonstrated competence in written, oral and telephone communication skills Recent evidence in the ability and proficiency in computer skills related to an electronic health record environment Evidence of attending continuing education and/or inservices Demonstrated competence in prioritizing and organizing in a fast-paced environment Must be competent with Windows based programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Strong organizational, decision making and problem solving skills Ability to display independent judgement Ability to work with all staff Ability to respect and promo.... |
