| Position Title: Clerk II - Records Management Competition Number: CRH-12-071 Status: Full-Time Regular FTE: 1.0 Department: Health Records Position Type: Both Position Description/ Required Qualifications: This is a support position in the Records Management work unit within a fast paced and very demanding Health Record Department. 1 to 3 years of Health Records Department experience, preferred. Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent 45 wpm required with Microsoft proficiency required, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook email Keyboard skills with efficient use of numerical key pad for computer updates, inquiries and data entry, required. Medical Terminology course required with proficiency test at time of interview. Graduate of a Unit Clerk or Medical Office Assistant course, preferred The position involves access to patient information and as such, security of data must be ensured at all times and strict confidentiality guidelines followed. Ability to work as a team player. Proper telephone etiquette and interpersonal skills at a level that would permit individual dealing with inquires from staff, physicians, and any public needing services from the Health Records Department. .... |
