Additional Information : Elk Island Public Schools requires Classified Substitutes to work as Educational Assistants on a casual call-in basis. Duties may include: working with students individually or in small groups working with special needs students lifts, transfers, and personal care of students may be required Candidates should have: Grade 12 education training or experience working with special needs students behaviour management training is an asset Emergency First Aid and CPR is an asset excellent interpersonal skills the ability to work with students under the direct supervision of the classroom teacher the ability to provide personal care for students ?
