| Claims Canada-Ontario-North York Job # 1191084-1191085 Job Description Claims Examiner - (Commercial Property Claims) Location: Downtown Toronto Start Date: ASAP Position Type: Permanent Opportunity Number: 2029971 altisHR is looking to hire (2) Claims Examiners for a permanent position for our insurance client located downtown Toronto. This position reporting into the AVP of Claims, the Examiners will be responsible for handling, evaluating, reserving and resolving multi-line claims with a primary focus on Commercial Property claims but includes COC, Property Damage Liability, Wrap-Up/GL, Excess-Umbrella, Professional Liability, Municipal Liability and other specialty lines of business in accordance with established company policy and providing strong administrative support to the claims department. Role and Responsibilities Confirmation and interpretation of coverage under applicable insurance contracts including identifying coverage issues, protecting the company Ts rights and resolution of coverage issues.
