| Claims Rep II Examiner Job ID: 102802 Location: Edmonton Full/Part Time: Full-Time Regular/Temporary: Regular Return to Previous Page Responsibilities Summary of Position: The Claims Representative - Casualty is responsible for the settlement of complex casualty and liability claims. The Claims Rep also assists in a number of Unit priorities including adding expertise as required, mentoring other staff, assisting with budgets and representing the unit on regional and company-wide initiatives. In addition, the incumbent performs a fundamental role in assisting in the management of the Litigation and/or Alternative Dispute Resolution processes within the Region. M ust, be capable of managing a minimum of two thirds of the Region’s Settlement Authority. Responsible for representing the company in the negotiation and settlement of outstanding claims. If necessary, participates in the management of claims through either Alternative Dispute Resolution Process or Litigation process. Investigates losses to determine necessity of claim as well as appropriate level of claim. Leads in analysis and assessment processes including analysis of coverage levels as well as quantum and liabili.... |
