| Civil Engineering Technologist Key Responsibilities Assisting designers in the planning and designing of airside/groundside aviation facilities including runways, taxiways and aprons; Preparing and assisting with the preparation of work plans and budgets for proposals; Assisting senior design personnel with the coordination and work of projects; Conducting field surveys with a radian IS GPS System as well as use of EDM Equipment Construction Supervision at various construction sites located in a number of provinces across Canada Conducting side inspections with engineering field staff for site surveys, condition reports and construction inspection; and Assisting in the preparation of reports, including Design Briefs and applications for funding. Assisting in the design/construction of municipal type projects. Qualifications College diploma in Civil Engineering Member of ASTTBC Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in CAD design in the field of municipal engineering, in particular water, sanitary and storm systems, and road works Proficiency with AutoCad, Land Development Desktop, and preferably, Civil 3D. Excellent MS Word and Excel abilities Total station survey knowledge Cons.... |
