Summary
Reporting to the Engineering Services Manager, the Chief Inspector will be responsible for taking a leadership role
in the development and execution of quality programs for project engineering, procurement and construction for
the development of the MacKay River Commercial Project, an in situ Oilsands project. This position will be based
in Calgary
Responsibilities
? Develop, manage and implement the company’s pressure equipment integrity management program.
? Monitor and execute quality assurance and quality control through the project life cycle: engineering,
procurement, construction, operation and maintenance.
? Liaise with the regulatory jurisdictions, authorized inspectors and contractors; effectively manage the
QA/QC activities during through all phases including: fabrication, repairs and alternations of pressure
equipment, piping and pipelines.
? Review contractors’ qualifications and quality documentation submissions as suitable for construction,
repairs and inspections.
