| Description: Our client, a large chemical manufacturing company is currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager of Chemical Technology. This position will report directly to and work closely with the Manager of Technology. The work will be related to research, technology, development and quality control. Some of the responsibilities will include but are not limited to: exemplifying the Quality Policy, Research Projects, coordinate and problem-solve, technical support for the sale of products and liaison to customers, communications to management, identifying and developing new products, research and development for improvements to existing products, establishing specifications for raw materials, verifying quality of same, development of quality control inspections and tests, monitoring of product through QC testing, maintenance of test records, and all other things related to this department as well as maintaining good communication with all department managers. Must have a Chemistry Degree and have experience with manufacturing in the oil and gas industry in Canada as well as exceptional communication skills.
