KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops, tests and implements modeling techniques and approaches to simulate, improve and optimize client steelmaking operations. Analyzes data from client facilities to assess operating performance levels and determine potential for process improvements and optimization. Facilitates the design of data acquisition systems at client facilities by identifying client requirements, recommending equipment and software specifications and designing tools for rapid data collection. EDUCATION Bachelor ?s degree in Chemical Engineering with emphasis on process analysis, control and optimization REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS Industrial process modeling experience particularly with mass and energy balances, reaction kinetics, thermodynamic principals, and control theory Extensive experience in computer programming with knowledge of CPlu.... |
