Performs routine Mill and Environmental assays in accordance with established test procedures in an accurate and timely fashion. ? Ensures safety and hygiene standards and conditions are maintained in area. ? Responsible for equipment operation, maintenance and housekeeping; performs minor maintenance oriented tasks. ? Maintains appropriate, accurate records of analysis, equipment condition and calibration. ? Alerts lab supervision of any irregularities which may have an effect on analytical accuracy, sample throughout and instrument operation. ? Effectively works and communicates with the supervisor, laboratory technicians, and mill personnel and cross shift. ? Carries out other procedures and assignments as required with supervision. ?
