| Cardiology Technologist COMPETITION NO: 11-646 STATUS : Casual Part Time DEPARTMENT : Laboratory Medicine REPORTS TO : Manager, Laboratory Medicine HOURS : Days; 7.5 Hour Shifts JOB SUMMARY: Coordinate the operations of the ECG department within the laboratory; Assist Cardiologist in the Cardiac Stress testing facility; Prepare patients with a brief explanation of stress testing. QUALIFICATIONS: Certification from Ontario Society of Cardiology Technologist or equivalent; Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certificate; Proven attendance record; Ability to perform the essential duties of the job; Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions in English; Demonstrates behaviours consistent with York Central Hospital’s Code of Conduct; Demonstrates YCH Core Values; Accountability, Collaboration, Leadership, Respect and Safety.
