| COMPENSATION SPECIALIST Temporary Full-time (for approximately 18 months) LOCATION: 150 Frederick St. , Kitchener Administers and manages the compensation section, providing support, resources and expertise in job evaluation, pay equity, salary administration and organizational design. Provides recommendations for the design and analysis of base pay compensation programs by researching compensation practices in the external market, conducting compensation surveys and by maintaining up to date knowledge of industry practices and trends. Monitors the application of compensation policies and structures to ensure they continue to support the Region?s strategic objectives to hire and retain engaged and motivated employees. Identifies potential compensation program design issues and recommends revisions to existing guidelines, structures, policies and procedures. Participates in the delivery and maintenance of job evaluation programs. Develops, promotes and consults on policies and procedures in accordance with legislative requirements and corporate policy. Participates on evaluation committees and assists with related documentation and presentations. Co-chairs t.... |
