| CHIEF DATA ARCHITECT JOB # # DATE POSTED 12/23/2011 START DATE JOB DESCRIPTION CHIEF DATA ARCHITECT The incumbent is responsible for innovation, management, and governance for the Enterprise Architecture group: Business Architect, application Architect, Information Architect, and Technology Architect. Data Architecture team (managed by Chief Data Architect (this role), reporting to The Head of Enterprise Strategic Architecture) currently focuses on: ? Master Data Management (MDM) - starting with Customer data ? current priority is to address security / entitlements within the MDM ? Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics - assess current state of diverse legacy BI solutions (reporting, analytics), perform gap analysis and propose a strategy and roadmap for the rationalized, centralized or federated BI solution ? Information Management - other general data architecture activities aside from MDM and BI (includes support for OLTP design, e.g. ODS) ? Architecture Strategy - aims to provide high level strategic architectural directions aligned to the company business objectives.
