CUPE SCALE: Min: $24.679 - Max: $25.290 POSITION SUMMARY: The Rehabilitation Assistant for the Stroke Clinic carries out assigned patient care treatment as prescribed by the Physiotherapist (PT)/Occupational Therapist (OT) and assists the therapist(s) with record keeping, work scheduling, and client related activities. All duties are performed in accordance to the Mission and Values of Providence Healthcare. QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED: Graduate (diploma or certificate) of PTA/OTA recognized community college program (e.g. Humber College “Physiotherapy Assistant/Occupational Therapy Assistant Program” or its equivalent in the area of rehabilitation or health sciences; The candidate will have proven abilities and experience working with the aged who have physical and/or cognitive disabilities; Good listening, observation and communication skills are essen.... |
