| Buying Support - Contract Position An opportunity exists to join the cleo Buying Department as a Buying Support on a 4-month Contract. This position is based out of Mississauga, ON. Job Objective: The Buying Support associate will provide administrative support to the Team Leader and buying teams. As well as assist the buyer in all buying and merchandising functions by utilizing the skills necessary to assist in achieving sales and gross margin results. Key Responsibilities: Purchase Order Management - through efficient ordering, follow-up and communication with vendors. Works with the Buyer to maintain professional vendor relationships through effective follow-up, responding to queries and passing vendor-relayed information about trends to the buyer. Requesting, organizing and tagging all samples & photo samples. Maintains an effective and productive working relationship with the Merchandise Distribution Department associates through positive and constructive communication. Aids in effective, profitable selling by providing merchandise information to field associates in order to maximize selling opportunities.
