Position Summary: As a buyer you will be responsible for all aspects of buying, from maintaining optimal inventory levels to finding and negotiating favorable terms with new and existing vendors. You must have a passion for buying and experience working in a fast-paced environment. A sharp, numbers-oriented individual with acute attention to detail and strong analytical and Excel skills will be a good fit for this position. Responsibilities: Mange vendor relations to include product selection, negotiation of best possible cost scenarios, communication and partnership development. Create and monitor purchase order status to ensure accurate and efficient distribution. Allocate inventory as needed and resolve any problem that may arise. Resolve pricing and receiving discrepancies quickly to ensure timely accounts payable. Enter SKU data into system. Build and maintain SKU and Purchase Order files. Maintain data integrity.
