| Business Intelligence Analyst (Cognos) Key Responsibilities The Business Intelligence Analyst will utilize the Cognos v10.1 application to take user requirements and develop reporting techniques using relational data models. You will have a strong sense of drive and accomplishment that will be an integral part of the startup and success of the Business Intelligence Competency Centre. Using the Cognos Reporting Studio and report building techniques, through relational data models to create, enhance, customize, and manage professional reports. Work with BI Manager to assess user requests to ensure alignment with Company’s strategic goals. Understanding business process management and business requirements of the customers and translating them to specific software requirements. Brainstorm business problems and develop effective solutions through documentation and analysis of required information and data. Liaise with the company’s IT personnel, such as the Information Architect and Data Warehouse and business end-users. Involved in the development and deployment of end-user training. Creating a variety of different report types, such as list, crosstab, chart, map, and stat.... |
