| Business Development Manager - Linamar Transportation Location Guelph, Ontario Description QUALIFICATIONS: We are looking for an aggressive, energetic, self-motivated closer. The ideal candidate will be a college or university graduate with strong communication, negotiation, interpersonal and organization skills. Two years experience in field sales is required as well as 3-5 years experience in the transportation industry or equivalent. Must possess a valid driver ?s licence and own transportation. Occasional overnight travel may be required. RESPONSIBILITIES: Solicit new business accounts and business relationships through cold calling, and networking activities. Provide information to potential customers about services that are provided and quote prices on those services to the customer. Meet pre-determined sales goals to increase overall business profits. Analyze current business activities to determine the appropriate level of new customer and freight activities. Maintenance of business relationships through communication with customers and ensuring customer satisfaction.
